Janitorial Supervisor

Job Description
Summary: ASRC Federal Field Service provides federal government agencies a complete spectrum of operations and maintenance, facilities management, logistics and business process support services. We strive to not only meet our customers' needs, but help them overcome challenges as well.
We are currently looking for aJanitorial Supervisor to play a crucial role in ensuring the pristine condition of our facilities and it's surroundings. ASRC Federal is centered on being part of a team and being included in an easy going environment.
Role/Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, executes and supervises functions of janitorial and staffing operations on all shifts
• In the absence of the Janitorial Manger assume control of all aspects of the Janitorial Department
• Provide training, guidance and motivation to janitorial staff
• Ensure the safe operation of staff in handling chemicals and equipment
• Perform daily building walk-through and quality control inspections
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Track, document and approve employee attendance and ensure all time is entered correctly
• Maintain and monitor work schedules of all staff
• Communicate necessary information and status updates to Janitorial Manager

Requirements
Requirements:

• Shall possess at least 5 years of experience in the management and supervision of commercial and institutional janitorial services
• High school Diploma or GED
• Experience managing staff of shift workers preferred to include performance management and separations
• Superb attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow cleaning supply instructions/restrictions
• Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen
• Clear and effective written and communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft IOS and Outlook
• Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug test, and physical exam
• Must be able to support night and weekend operations as needed
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Must possess excellent customer service values
