We are looking for a qualified Seasonal Janitorial Manager to join our team. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of various facilities in the city. You will also oversee managing a team of janitors and ensuring that they perform their duties efficiently and safely. Maintenance services include in-game and post-game cleaning of the entire stadium including stands, seats, locker rooms, public areas, and restroom maintenance. This position pays $30 - $35 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Training, and supervising a team of janitors and cleaners
- Ensuring that the stadium is clean and sanitary before, during, and after events
- Managing the inventory and supply of cleaning materials and equipment
- Coordinating with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth operations
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety standards and regulations
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of work performed by the janitorial staff
- Handling customer complaints and feedback regarding the cleanliness of the stadium
- Preparing and managing the budget for the janitorial department
- Reporting and documenting any issues or incidents related to the janitorial services
- Developing and updating policies and procedures for the janitorial department
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in janitorial or facility management
- A valid driver's license or reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
