The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is a youth residential treatmentfacility which provides a safe and caring healing environment for adolescentsin need.  Located on 51 acres, ourwellness program provides a peaceful environment for treatment balanced intraditional, cultural, and spiritual values and practices. These values andpractices foster respect, honesty, generosity, strong cultural identificationand hope for positive life changes.  TheHealing Lodge treatment program integrates traditional, spiritual, and culturalvalues with chemical dependency and mental health counseling to create aholistic approach toward healing. Residents include both Native American and non-Native from all areas ofthe country.

•  Full Medical, Dental and Vision benefits  first of the month after 60 days employment. 
• HL7N pays 100% of the insurance premium for Full-time Employees (32 hours+).
• HL7N pays 100% of the Employees $5,000 deduction utilizing the Difference Debit Card?? 
• HL7N pays 100% of the Employees Dental and Vision expenses up to $1,000 utilizing the Difference Debit Card.?? 

• $75,000 Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term disability after 90 days. HL7N pays 100% of the Life Insurance premium for Full-time Employees (32 hrs.+).? 
• Annually Employees receive 12 paid holidays; 20 Paid-Time-Off (PTO) days per year after the employee has been employed FTE (32 hrs.+) and achieve successful 90-days performance evaluation rating.? 
• 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan with the HL7N maximum pension contribution of 4%, completed 12 months of employment (2,080 hrs.) and successful performance evaluation rating.?? 
• Healing Lodge employment may qualify for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program as well as loan repayment through Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)? 

JanitorialSpecialist maintains a clean environment for residents and staff.  Follows the guidelines and specificationsestablished for The Healing Lodge.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assignedat any time with or without notice.  Mustbe able to read, write, and understand English.

        Cleans and sanitizes dining roomafter each meal.

        Cleans and sanitizes restrooms,shower rooms, and residents' living quarters.

        Dust mops and wet mops floors;operates floor equipment as needed.

        Performs daily inspections androutine maintenance on all housekeeping equipment.

        Spot and clean carpets as needed.

        Keeps all light lenses clean andfree of insects and other debris.

        Cleans windows using professionalwindow cleaning techniques.

        Maintains all janitorial closetsin a neat, orderly fashion at all times.

        Always uses appropriate safetyprecautions.

        Reports any safety or otherbuilding maintenance issues to the Facility Manager daily.

        Knowledge of safely handling anddiluting housekeeping cleaning materials; familiar with MSDS requirements

        Helps remove snow from walks androadways.

        Setup for training in the gym andother conference rooms.

        Other Duties as assigned.

Education and/orExperience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-yearrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.

The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this Job, theemployee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionallyrequired to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extendedperiods of time, occasionally standing or climbing on a stool or ladder.  Must be able to use hands to finger, handle,or feel; bend, stoop, or kneel; reach with hands and arms in any direction; talkand hear.  Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.  Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends,and holidays. 

Work Environment:

The work environmentcharacteristics described here are representative of those an employeeencounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work isperformed in various environments indoors and outdoors using typicalhousekeeping and maintenance equipment such as maintenance vehicles, snowblower, leaf blower, shovel, rake, mechanics tools, construction tools,maintenance tools including but not limited to hammers, screwdrivers, electricdrills, saws, etc.  The noise level inthe work environment is moderate.
