Job Description
Summary
The Site Manager is directly responsible for daily janitorial operations, client satisfaction, account retention and employee relations. This hands-on manager oversees the work of site supervisors, janitorial staff, and often performs the same duties as the site supervisors and janitorial staff.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Prepares and distributes work schedules for all janitorial personnel at assigned locations.
- Assigns and delegates cleaning and janitorial duties for assigned location, and performs those same duties, as needed to ensure work quality and adherence to budgeted hours.
- Enforces work standards for janitorial employees in accordance with company practices.
- Acts as main customer relations liaison with client representatives.
- Maintains product inventory at appropriate levels.
- Recruits, hires, trains and disciplines all site-specific employees
- Follows guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment.
- Makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
- Monitors spending on labor and purchases to ensure operating budgets is in tact.
- Identifies problems and areas of concern, troubleshoots operational issues, obtains guidance from Regional managers, and follows through to resolution.
- Trains and orients new hires for assigned location.
- Oversees safety compliance in the work environment as required by OSHA and company policies, and serves as a role model to promote a safe work culture.
- Prioritizes work responsibilities so as to give appropriate attention to all work areas in the assigned location.
- Monitors timekeeping system to ensure that employees are following to wage and hour policies and procedures.
- Approves hours and time off for payroll purposes.
- Communicates regularly with Regional Management to ensure operational continuity, track performance, and resolve any larger issues.
- Manages and performs special project work as requested.
Qualifications
- Works closely with Human Resources to assist with the hiring process.
- Familiarity with the hiring process
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols and PPE’s.
- Ability to monitor employee rest and meal breaks, time punches and all-time recording required by the company
- Knowledge of budgeted employee hours compared to company budget
- Experience with and knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment, desired.
- Great oral and written communication skills; bi-lingual required
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to maintain high-quality interpersonal relationships
- Excellent customer relationship skills

- Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with their schedule
- Dependable, reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

- General ability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $19.75

Schedule and Location:
- Tuesday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM
- Carson, CA
