Janitorial Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities:

• Perform general janitorial duties, including cleaning and maintaining assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
• Adhere to company policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning, especially in medical and healthcare facilities is preferred

• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in healthcare settings
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
