Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
