The Cleaning Crew Member is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of homes and business of different sizes, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms and offices while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
● Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
● Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of homes and business of different sizes, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms and offices
● Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
● Disposing of trash from bins and containers
● Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
● Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
● Making beds and changing lines
● Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
● Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
● Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
● Keeping all spaces neat and tidy
- Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job.
- Performs all cleaning functions following established procedures in a timely fashion.
- Uses properly labeled cleaning supplies for each job as instructed.
- Maintains tools and equipment in good condition, uses supplies economically.
- Stripping, waxing, and buffing of floors (training provided)
- General office cleaning including empty trash daily, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and vacuuming ensuring daily cleanliness of the facility.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to two (2) years of high school education
● Prior cleaning experience preferred
● Ability to follow verbal directions
● Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
● Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
● Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills
● Pays attention to detail when cleaning
● Organized and able to follow a schedule
● Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 30 pounds
● General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
● Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays

· Work in varying degrees of temperature (heated or air conditioned).
· Position requires sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
· Position requires light to moderate work with up to 40 lbs. maximum weight to lift, carry, push, pull or move.
· Position requires reaching, bending at the waist, and handling objects with hands and/or sustained squat and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing and seeing.
· Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
