**Job Description: Janitor**

**Position Overview:**

Shift is TBD between 6pm and 2am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hours per week will not exceed 15 hours.

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Night Janitor to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities during the nighttime hours. The Night Janitor will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for employees, visitors, and customers. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the premises are well-maintained and ready for use each day.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Cleaning and Sanitization:**

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and spills.

- Empty and clean waste bins and replace liners as needed.

- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and surfaces.

- Wipe down surfaces, counters, and windows to maintain a clean appearance.

2. **Surface Maintenance:**

- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

- Clean and maintain glass surfaces and mirrors.

- Maintain clean and organized common areas, lobbies, and corridors.

3. **Maintenance and Restocking:**

- Restock restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

- Keep janitorial storage areas organized and well-stocked.

4. **Safety and Security:**

- Ensure all entrances, exits, and emergency exits are clear and accessible.

- Monitor and report any security or safety concerns to supervisors.

- Adhere to proper safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals.

5. **Trash Removal:**

- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated areas.

- Maintain proper separation and disposal of waste according to company guidelines.

6. **Special Projects:**

- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.

- Set up and clean meeting rooms and event spaces as required.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work is a plus.

- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment is advantageous.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

- Good communication skills to report issues and communicate with team members.

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.

- Flexibility to work Night Shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
