Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an "IT Lead Technician" for the All-NewJ Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Acts as a lead worker in the Technical Support area coordinating efforts amongst other members
• Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness Provide IT Support including:
  • PC and peripheral installation and maintenance
  • Lifecycle maintenance including documenting asset systems and CMDB
  • Software installation and maintenance
  • Printer configuration
  • Office 365 Support
  • Phone system and video conferencing support
• Cellular support
• Mobile Device support for JEI applications, Office 365, etc.
• MFA and conditional access support
• Participate in vulnerability management processes
• Participate in IT security meetings and make recommendations on standards
• Provide support for ERP systems such as Great Plains and PDI
• Purchasing hardware and software
• Instructs end users on new or upgraded application, hardware, and software
• Organizes work, sets priorities, and meets critical time deadlines
• Monitor systems to ensure compliance with Company and Governmental policies
• to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future
• Assist in surveillance infrastructure support
• Provide written documentation of all duties
• Works closely with Facilities department and AV Technician to ensure the proper maintenance of all in-room technology

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• Must be fluent in English
• 3 years of IT experience
• 2 years of IT audit experience
• Competencies required: Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft Office Suites, Laptop/Desktop, PC configurations
• Preferred certificates: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL, Microsoft MTA
• Ability to multitask in demanding environmental
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, required
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals
• Working knowledge of Networking and TCP/IP
• Working knowledge of Domain and Active Directory Support
• Proven ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully
• Requires State of Nevada Gaming license
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
