Form of workPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our IT team in the role of IT Technician I or II. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in supporting end-user hardware and software, contributing to the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
IT Technician I:- Provide end-user support for hardware and software.
- Configure and support various devices, including PCs, printers, phones, and more.
- Assist in new installations, updates, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Helpdesk customer support.
- Network account management (AD and Microsoft 365).
- Independently handle common end-user hardware, software, training, and troubleshooting issues.
- Learn and support additional LAN areas, including server backup and patching support.
- Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
- LAN support monitoring.
- Develop and update hardware and software installation instructions.
- Mentor IT Technician I staff.
Qualifications:
IT Technician I:- Associates Degree in Computer Science desired. May consider an associate degree in progress with completion of it within 6 months and 2 year of functional end user helpdesk and/or hardware and software support experience
- 1-2 years of IT-related field experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Due to the 24/7 operations of the business, must be on call and able to work flexible work schedules which include nights, weekends, and holidays is required. This on a rotational basis.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of Associates Degree, may consider a combination of education and relevant work experience totaling a minimum of 4 years is required.
- Good mechanical ability and hands-on capabilities.
