Johnson & Johnson Corporate Business Technology is recruiting for an IT Technical Lead - Enterprise Learning Management System (SUMMIT). The preferred location is New Brunswick, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. Applicants must be willing to work on Eastern Time zone schedule.

Position Summary

The position will work within the Human Resources Domain and will play a key role in understanding and translating business needs into business language to support existing steady state SUMMIT learning landscape and Quality Program. Heavy emphasis will be in carving out technology roadmap / requirements based on the business roadmap.

A large part of the role will be to work closely with Business Partners, Vendors, Technical Services, and Product Analyst. Work will involve in refining the user requirements / user stories and delivering solution to drive operational excellence and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and roadmap in partnership with the business, including new features and enhancements
  • In the absence of Product Analyst, fulfill the product role within the squad by leading the product backlog and writing user stories, with autonomy to prioritize issues based on perceived user value, metrics and release planning.
  • Be accountable for all tasks and facets related to support of Enterprise Learning, integrated solutions, and peripheral technologies at Global scale.
  • Accountable to ensure that product solutions incorporate an approach that start with experimentation to validate expected impact, includes human centered design, follows agile principles, incorporates external insights, required end to end process optimizations, and compliance engagement.
  • Partner with teams for requirements collection, impact analysis, portfolio prioritization, engineer technical change management approvals and report out to business partners.
  • Partner with external organizations and vendors e.g. Cornerstone on Demand to influence the direction of the improvements and functionality.
  • Handle operational responsibilities for issues resolution, incident, service requests, improvements fulfilment with collaboration across product/squads for Learning Management System, and HR Systems related integrated solutions at global and regional level.
  • Collaborate with global/regional product owners, provide technical direction on a Global level.
  • Partner with BPOs to develop long term holistic product roadmaps with multi-technology integrated landscape towards cohesive user experience.
  • Partner and deliver product service packs, upgrades in collaboration with internal and third-party vendor business partners.
  • Coordinate operational and project timelines, issue and risks based on the global program critical initiatives and goals.
  • Collaborate and implement standards covering Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid Project methodologies.
  • Partner with Product Analyst to provide clarity on the business and technical requirements in order to drive the appropriate user stories and sprint planning.
  • Coordinate and support ISRM, Asset Management and other requirements.
  • As a key member of CBT, develop and maintain positive relationships with internal business areas, and Third-Party Vendors to ensure compliance and excellence in execution.
Required:
  • 5 or more years of related experience in a technical field or related subject area
  • Strong IT background with a consistent record of delivering results, validated leadership, digital skills, influencing skills, interdependent partnering skills, communication as well as critical thinking skills, creative and flexible problem solver, and process focus
  • Strong project management, coordination, and estimate effort for project objectives skills
  • Cornerstone On Demand working knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of integrated solutions to Document Management systems, HR Systems, Learning Management Systems etc.
  • Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, Risk management including Security
  • Ability to succeed in a global environment and influence adoption of new thinking
  • Experience in effectively collaborating cross-functionally while handling partner expectations without formal authority
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, critical situations and attention to detail required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact strategically and confidently with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes
  • Ability to align complex architecture to business strategies and initiatives
  • Consistent track record of delivering projects with bold timelines and sprints; can drive solutions quickly and efficiently with high value
  • Strong experience crafting technical solutions for business problems; understands both business processes and technical solutions
  • Previous experience delivering Enterprise solutions
  • Ability to work on Eastern Time zone schedule
Preferred:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong working knowledge of integrated solutions toData Hubs and Quality systems
  • Partnering/leading with SaaS vendors
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Comprehensive experience and understanding in Learning/Talent Development technologies and processes
  • Process understanding in Human Resources domain
  • Experience with data and analytics; large scale enterprise data, APIs and reporting solutions (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
  • Experience working in an end-to-end team solution with sophisticated integrations
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,000.
