Job Summary: As the Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our local IT infrastructure, systems, and technology initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background, combined with leadership skills to manage a small IT team and work collaboratively with other departments to drive technological innovation aligned with and directed by our global IT standards and business objectives.

- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the IT team.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of IT systems and solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains technologically competitive.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, servers, and data centers.
- Monitor system performance, security, and scalability, and proactively address any issues.
- Site IT Management:
- Align with US management, local departments and GL-IT on US site IT requirements towards global IT strategy roadmap and project portfolio.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor US IT staff members.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Security and Compliance:
- Enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, TISAX, etc).
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships in coordination with global IT directives.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the US-IT department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support for end-users and resolve complex IT issues.
- Establish and maintain IT service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead US ITSM initiatives based on GL-IT standards and specifications.
- Project Management:
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Global Collaboration:
- Become a member of the Global IT Leadership team
- Collaborate with Global IT teams in all locations (KAG/KCS/KUS/KRU/KCC/KCZ); implementing global IT projects & initiatives, and co-administering some global IT resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years in a technical IT management role, preferably in a small to medium business environment.
- Strong, proven technical skills in areas such as networking, systems administration, and cloud technologies Microsoft Active Directory / Azure ; Cisco / Extreme Networking; CheckPoint / Fortinet / Palo Alto Firewalls; Windows Servers; Exchange Online; SharePoint Online; O365; Microsoft 365; SAP / ERP; EDI
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business needs.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, PMP, ITIL v4) a plus.
