It Systems Analyst

Performs the function of understanding, enhancing, and monitoring business software developed in-house or purchased from vendor. Interacts closely with business users to accurately define business rules. Develop at all layers for robust and resilient business capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively communicate with business associates, team members, and other IT departments as needed to determine requirements, communicate status, and support solutions.
• Work jointly with other analysts on projects, enhancements, maintenance, and support; providing guidance to junior and uninformed team members and acting as advised by team leadership.
• Contribute to software analysis, design and testing specifications through completion of exercises.
• Develop and maintain high-level systems documentation through architecture and messaging diagrams.
• Participate in interaction with Systems Engineers and Analysts outside of project team to address integration and security details with other internal and external systems.
• Develop software solutions in new and existing systems to support specifications designed by the project team.
• Adhere to required architectural standards and processes for design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions.
• Assure solutions quality through unit-level and system-level testing. Participate in the development of appropriate test plans, including diagnostic capabilities.
• Provide on-call technical and operational support to various business customers for systems maintained by your team.
• Maintain solutions developed by your team and vendors as the need arises. Correct issues discovered, test the solution, and communicate resolution to appropriate team members and business customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or 2 years of related college and related work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience working in software development and requirements gathering. Work experience should include application development background using SDLC. Proficiency in multiple programming languages. Experience spectrum includes elements of: JAVA, Javascript, SpringBoot, consuming and providing Webservices, JDBC, SQL, REACT, Node.
• General understanding of RDBMS is a plus. Excellent competencies in planning, organization time management, written & oral communication, basic understanding of business operations.
• Must be a team player when it comes to design patterns, etc.
