Form of work*Description:*TEKsystems has a need for an IT Support Specialist supporting our Government IT team in Central City, KY. We will be looking for a very knowledgeable & experienced technician with a high aptitude for customer service. Along with desktop duties which include working on tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and phones, the candidate may be required to assist with security cameras, servers, and network switches.The candidate must be able to pass a background check and extensive drug test prior to starting.
The Government Support Team holds training once a month, but it can last up to three weeks.*Top Skills' Details*1. Desktop and Peripherals Support - 24 months of experience as a technical support professional2. Windows 10 and O365 Troubleshooting and Support - expertise in supporting end user issues will be critical.3.
HW/SW troubleshooting and break/fix - Must be able to connect with the customer, show customer service attitude, and think outside the box to solve problems.*Additional Skills & Qualifications:** Customer service is huge, excellent communication, team player, and someone that is willing to ask for help when needed.* Enthusiasm and passion for the job is very important.* "Customer service skills are equally as important and technical skills."* Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment.*Experience Level:*Intermediate Level About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
