Job Description
IT Support Engineer
The IT Support Engineer has the responsibility of designing, installing, maintaining and supporting the company’s computing and technology systems. This includes network devices such as firewalls and switches, Windows servers, as well as software applications, hardware, and firmware. The IT Support Engineer also provides local support for end-users and their devices and documents the problem and corrective action. A candidate must be able to diagnose and resolve complex issues, as well as learn new technologies and software quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Onboarding and offboarding of new users, including providing initial and recurring (annual) training
- Develop, maintain and update company Web and Share Point sites
- Image and deploy new end-user devices
- Maintain and test backup systems
- Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan
- Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and video conferencing equipment
- Maintain IT asset cradle-to-grave management, including with the inventory management of software licenses, hardware warranties, and other IT supplies
- Assist with the purchase of software, hardware, services, and IT supplies
- Office 365 Administration including but not limited to managing Active Directory, refining security controls, reviewing logs, streamlining processes, managing SharePoint sites, Exchange Online, PowerShell
- Windows server, Hyper-V, and Windows 10 support
- Configuration of network switches and firewalls
- Maintain and review server and security audits
- Cybersecurity incident response, investigation and reporting
- Good troubleshooting skills to assist users of varying degrees of technological capability
- Motivated and willing to adapt to challenges
- Strict adherence to established standards
- Performs other duties as assigned

- DFARS 252.204-7012 and NIST SP 800-171 compliance
- Wordpress/Web experience
- VOIP Systems
- Video Systems
- Copiers/Scanners/Fax/Printer Systems
