- A Support Engineer is responsible for resolving customer technology problems as directed. This position must follow-through with dispatched tickets in a timely manner and must maintain communication with both the customer and dispatch. This position must be able to work both on-site and remote tickets. This position must keep accurate records of both time and work performed. It is critical for this position to always be seeking to improve both their technical and their customer service skills.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Set up basic network including DHCP, DNS, Default gateway etc.
- Firm grasp of troubleshooting process
- Basic hardware and software skills for workstation support
- Understanding of Workstation Operating Systems and their support and maintenance
- Effective Communicator
- Committed Learner
- Able to work nights and weekends when needed (This is not a 9-5 job)
- Strong commitment to customer service
