Job Summary
This position is for an individual contributor who wants to be key contributor for the expansion of leading services and solutions to Caterpillar’s Resource Industries customers. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying solutions and supporting core IT processes that ensure the right level of governance and support is applied to a range of initiatives. You will partner with various IT functional teams, business application owners and engagement leaders to accomplish business objectives.
This position works with teams of both Resource Industries and Caterpillar IT to help execute IT strategies to support the business. This position supports daily IT site specific services to the division and services provided from other internal IT organizations. The role consults with the business on process and technology in the following areas: information security, software onboarding, enterprise IT projects, hardware and software lifecycle management including asset management, digital services, and IT Operations including disaster recovery and business continuity.

Operational Excellence : Executing IT services to meet business levels, monitoring performance, and fostering a proactive incident response culture.
Project Delivery : Supporting business case development for IT projects, participating in workgroups for OPACC value delivery, and representing Global IT Teams in project support.
What You Have:
Strong IT experience
Good writing, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Ability to balance customer service and IT governance
Hands-on technical knowledge and experience working in an enterprise infrastructure and applications environment.
Strong customer focus with professional communication skills
Demonstrated quick and clear decision-making skills
Self-starter with strong technical skills and business acumen
Able to execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
Takes responsibility and achieves results
Experience working with and supporting Data and Analytics environments
Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
Ability to think broadly, balanced with high attention to detail
Expertise with IT security is desirable
Able to communicate technical information effectively with management, work groups and others within the business and supply base
Creativity and “out-of-the-box” thinking
