DUTIES: Maintain and enhance software systems and software development processes for our manufacturing operations.
Identify opportunities and implement changes to existing MES systems to reduce support demands from the manufacturing teams.
Collaborate with developers to optimize workflows and improve the cadence and quality of releases.
Contribute to the development of tools to improve efficiency of MES development, deployment, and support.
Contribute to build automation and Continuous Integration/Deployment for MES and tools applications.
Act as a champion, change agent, and mentor to bring new technologies, techniques and principles for software engineering excellence.
Up to 5% travel required. Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of technical study plus 1 year or experience in application development or a related occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of technical study plus 3 years of experience in application development or a related occupation as an equivalent alternative.
Must have knowledge or experience with:
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES);
.Net;
Git, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar CI/CD tool;
AWS or Azure;
C#, Java, Python, or PowerShell; and
Automation Technologies (UIPath, PowerAutomate, or similar).
