Job Description
Position Purpose

  • Develop a deep understanding of the regional business strategies, objectives, and priorities, and align I&T initiatives and services to support them effectively.
  • Is responsible for coordinating the full range of Information and Technology initiatives across the assigned region(s) such that a fully understood portfolio of I&T change is manageable by Regional Executives.
  • Is the primary liaison and interface between the regional leadership team, including ELT members, All I&T Programme and Change teams and TS Service Delivery. Proactively contributes to the development of the business by focusing on continuous improvement opportunities, whether through delivery and use of TS enabled capabilities or the secure use of our systems and data.
  • Building an intimate understanding of the Regions' geographically dispersed businesses, driving global standardization in solutions at an organizational level wherever possible to provide maximum return on investment aligned to the overarching TS strategy.
  • Acts as advocate for the Regional customer in development of, and approval for, the prioritised portfolio of I&T needs, At the same time promotes understanding and alignment to TS goals and objectives at a global level. The true value comes in being able to influence at the appropriate leadership levels on both sides, bringing together a strong partnership between the Business and TS. Focused on meeting the current, future, expressed and unexpressed demands of the function they support and the business, while maximising returns on I&T investment.

Major / Key Accountabilities
Strategic Alignment
  • Develop a deep understanding of the regional business strategies, objectives, and priorities, and align I&T initiatives and services to support them effectively.
  • Identify and prioritize I&T initiatives that will have the greatest impact on the regional business units by being responsible for forming the regional input to the Global TS Portfolio prioritisation process. Working closely with the Regional Transformation Office, Digital, CX and Supply Chain Portfolio teams ensure the TS Portfolio priorities are aligned to Business I&T Product (see definition) requirements.
  • Work together with the Brambles Office of the CIO (OCIO) to represent the Region in the Global TS Portfolio prioritisation process. Adjust the Regional portfolio based on outcomes and ensure Region compliance to the Global outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global CIO to ensure the regional I&T strategy is aligned with the overall global TS strategy and corporate goals.

Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional business leaders, including the Regional President and their teams. Act as a trusted advisor to regional stakeholders, providing guidance and expertise on leveraging technology to drive business value and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the central Technology Services function and regional stakeholders.
  • Advocate for regional business needs within Global Business Technology Platforms and influence I&T programme design and decision-making processes.
  • Influence the regional business stakeholder to adopt existing solutions to ensure synergies, maximise the re-use, benefits and value of the Global Business Technology Platforms and ultimately the alignment with the overall global TS strategy.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Central Global TS Function, Digital BRM's and Supply Chain I&T teams in tailoring I&T Products and solutions to meet regional requirements.
  • Monitoring Internal Customer Satisfaction within the region and taking actions to address any concerns or gaps in TS delivery services.

TS Service Delivery
  • Work closely with Programme Directors, the OCIO, Platform, Cyber, TS Service Management and other Infrastructure teams in Global TS to oversee the delivery of TS services within the region, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed-upon service levels, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee TS service performance metrics across the Region, identify areas for improvement, and work with TS Service Management to implement necessary changes or enhancements to enhance overall service delivery.

TS Governance and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with I&T Principles, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements within the region.
  • Collaborate with the Global CIO and regional stakeholders to establish and enforce governance processes, TS controls, and risk management practices in line with the Global Operating Model.

Regional I&T Planning and Execution
  • Lead the development of the regional I&T plan, taking into consideration business needs, market dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
  • Drive the execution of regional I&T initiatives, projects, and programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

Resource Management
  • Manage regional I&T resources, including budget, resources (Headcounts), and external vendors or partners, to optimize resource allocation and support business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Global CIO and other regional I&T Directors to identify opportunities for resource sharing, synergies, and cost optimization.

Stakeholder Communication and Engagement
  • Act as a primary point of contact for regional stakeholders, providing regular updates on I&T initiatives, performance, and value delivered.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the central Technology Services, regional stakeholders, and the Global OCIO.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Drive a culture of collaborative service improvement across I&T teams working in the Region while supporting strong value and innovation practices. Explore and implement emerging technologies and best practices alongside the Global Architecture Community to enhance business processes and outcomes.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing initiatives to optimize TS operations and services.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, Master's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience

Desirable
  • MBA
  • Experience facing off to an ELT or Executive leader

Experience
  • Experience working across large-scale initiatives, bringing different stakeholder groups together to deliver value.
  • Experience working within a bi-modal delivery environment (i.e. both waterfall and agile methodologies).
  • Experience in diverse multi-cultural, matrix corporate cultures.
  • Significant previous experience in within an I&T and/or Business Relationship role.
  • 7+ years' experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
  • Proven success in improving the customer experience.
  • Using information technology in a strategic context to further strategic goals.
