Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team. As an IT Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of information systems. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or breaches. This is a challenging and rewarding position for someone with a strong background in information security and a passion for keeping data safe.

Duties:

- Utilize automated and manual checks to verify Windows Servers are properly hardened in accordance with DISA STIGs- Harden system components through the use of DISA STIGs

- Update Windows servers to current version

- Provide technical consultation and support to clients in implementing and troubleshooting software solutions

- Conduct system analysis and design to ensure the system components are securely configured

- Securely configure software applications and system servers

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or higher

- Proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or similar role

- Familiar with security tools such as SCAP Scans Nessus, DISA STIGs, etc.

- Familiar with Windows Policies, Active Directory, DNS

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
