It Quality Assurance (Qa) Engineer

The Role

The IT Quality Assurance Engineer will be primary responsible to ensure that the software being delivered is the highest quality and meets the customer's requirements. An agile Quality Assurance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that software applications are delivered with high quality, meeting customer expectations and providing value to the business.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for each release within the Project/Program such as Dynamics 365 and it is business applications.
• Work closely with the product owner and development team to understand business requirements and user stories.
• Create and maintain test cases and test scripts for functional, , performance, and acceptance testing.
• Continuously monitor and track testing progress, ensuring that all test cases are executed and documented accurately.
• Analyze and report defects, working with the development team to prioritize and resolve them.
• Ensure cross-functional testing is performed and the overall system is integrated seamlessly.
• Conduct functional, , and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Use automated testing tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other ceremonies.
• Continuously improve the testing process, including identifying and implementing new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Keep up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing in a Waterfall/Agile environment.
• 3+ years of experience in an IT or technology-focused organization focused on Customer and Commercial Excellence driving business growth and success by delivering exceptional customer experiences and optimizing sales and marketing strategies using technology.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with test management tools, such as Jira, ALM, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
