Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is a critical role that requires the ability to multitask and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of various IT projects within our organization. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple IT projects concurrently, from start to finish, ensuring compliance with project scope, timelines, and budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and task assignments.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize project risks.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate project status reports regularly to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure resource utilization.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, provide direction, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
• Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
• Participate in and / or lead end user training activities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Performance Measurements:
• Measuring the ability to meet project milestones and deadlines within the planned schedule.
• Evaluation of managing the project finances effectively, including staying within budget and minimizing budget overages.
• Evaluating stakeholder feedback and satisfaction with project deliverables and communication throughout the project.
• Measuring the ability to identify, mitigate, and respond to risks throughout the project, ensuring minimal impact on project outcomes.
• Assessing the performance, productivity, and collaboration within the project team.
• Other key performance indicators as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for education.
• PMP or Project Management Certifications is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, handling medium to large projects desired.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) preferred.
• Competence in risk management, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Technical background with knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems development, and software deployment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel "up to 25%."
