Applicant first review will take place on 11/29 and the role may close at that time if the applicant pool is sufficient. In-person interviews are tentatively planned for 12/13/2023 and anticipated position start date is 1/8/2024.
The will manage multiple Information Technology projects while working with a great team, managing project budgets, consultants, schedules, and providing status updates. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills and is an effective team leader. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff, inside and outside of Information Technology is an integral part of the role. Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements is necessary for the role.
Note: Salary offers are based upon individual qualifications related to the position minimum requirements as well as internal equity. While every offer is considered individually, it is rare that an offer would be considered beyond the midpoint of the range.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation.
This department is currently working in a hybrid environment, with an optional two remote work days per week, after the completion of training. Modified work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the department director; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue modified work arrangements at any point.
Regardless of work location (Remote, On-Site, or Hybrid) Town of Gilbert employees are required to reside in the state of Arizona by hire date.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience.
- Five or more years of Information Technology industry experience.

- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) - or attainment of certification within one year of employment.
