Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational IT Product Owner/Lead – Seeds IBP an IT business planning expert to support our Seeds platform planning solutions within SAP IBP. This role owns all Seeds related IBP planning areas working in partnership with the business and IT colleagues to continue value generation from the technology. In addition to the Seeds specific role, this individual will be the IBP User-Experience (UX) Lead across all IBP planning areas. This role will focus on driving the adoption of IBP functionality focused on improving the IBP user experience.

Key Responsibilities – What you will do to help us grow!

  • In collaboration with solution architect, understands the end-to-end technical solution for Seeds and how it integrates to and supports the applicable business processes.
  • Serves as the IBP planning technology expert for Seeds platform and UX for both current technology utilization and upcoming upgrades for improving solution set or business process execution.
  • Partners with the Business Process Owner to improve and maintain SAP IBP Planning system using technical and process expertise to enable the effective execution of digital supply chain planning.
  • As owner of Seeds IBP technology roadmap, collaborates with business stakeholders and architect to maintain and deploy technology improvements and as-needed assists business with business case(s).
  • As IBP UX lead, partners with product teams to deploy improvements focused on the user experience, such as user interfaces, intelligent visibility, embedded analytics, and procedure playbooks.
  • Collaborates with the Business Process Owner and related SME’s to support technology related training and deployment of functionality.
  • Serves as the first line of contact for related Service Delivery team inquiries for Seeds on an as-needed basis. Monitors R&M support to ensure service requests and incidents are being completed timely to meet business needs.
  • Provides translation of business needs into specific business requirements and ultimately into functional specifications.
  • Monitors KPIs for overall product effectiveness and application stability for business needs.

Qualifications

What expertise have you grown – What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Technical related degree preferred, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Overall 10+ years of experience with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience related to this position.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes and related ERP/ advanced planning applications.
  • Highly preferred, hands-on experience and detailed understanding of Seeds Demand Planning, Macro Planning, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, and Volume Planning.
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in Supply Chain processes and supporting technologies.

Technical Competencies

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP IBP and the supported business processes.
  • Reporting and analytics expertise.
  • Ability to learn and upskill on new technologies, processes and applications.
  • Experience working with vendors, product roadmaps and support lifecycles.

Leadership Competencies

  • Work with cross-functional global teams.
  • Manage externally contracted vendor resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Internal Controls.
