Job Overview :
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), Office of Legal Counsel/Contracts and Procurement is seeking a qualified individual to support ODM's IT contracting and procurement needs. As an IT Procurement Analyst (Computer Acquisition Analyst 2), under the supervision of ODM Legal Counsel, your responsibilities will include:
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating requests for procurement of Information Technology (IT) hardware, software, and services for ODM
  • Serving as ODM's liaison to the Ohio Department of Administrative Services for IT purchases
  • Ensuring ODM's compliance with DAS purchasing policies and procedures
  • Providing procurement and contract support for a wide variety of projects, including very complex contracts like the Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System contracts to more routine purchases like computer hardware
  • Generating and releasing competitive solicitation documents for IT purchases
  • Facilitating proposal evaluation teams and selection process for IT procurement
  • Overseeing and facilitating IT Staff Augmentation process for ODM

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science/data processing/engineering; 24 months training or 24 months experience in multiple areas of data processing (e.g., systems analysis, systems design, application development & programming, networking, hardware/software evaluation).
-Or 48 months experience in computer programming; 24 months training or 24 months experience in computer systems analysis & design; 6 months training or 6 months experience in computer hardware, software & communication systems.
-Or 18 months experience as Computer Acquisition Analyst 1, 64171.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
