Job Purpose
The PBI Senior Lead Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data models and reporting solutions that meet business reporting and analytical objectives for Merchandising, Planning, and Inventory.
Key Responsibilities
The PBI Senior Lead Analyst will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
Business Analyst duties
- Provide effective communication with business users on the timelines and progress of the development.
- Attend Requirement Gathering Meeting's and document the Business Requirements from stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and its value.
- Provide analysis of the gathered requirements and create User stories, process flows and other relevant documentation.
- Perform extensive data analysis, show the patterns and insights of data that would help Business to make decisions.
- Convert the Monday.com requests to Epic/Stories/Sub tasks etc.
QA Analyst duties
- Convert stories to test planning, test case designing and test case execution.
- Report on the Status of Test Execution and the work for the Management.
- Log the Defects and Retest - Defect Reporting.
- Perform in depth data validation testing for the Power BI Reports.
- Create comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and any other relevant documentation.
SQL/Power BI Developer duties
- Develop SQL Scripts from Different Sources and Consolidate them as a Data source that is used in several Power BI Reports.
- Push the SQL Changes to the Prod Database in creating the Change Requests and follow the Process.
- Enhance the various SQL Tables/Views/Stored Procs to fix for the Opened Bugs.
- Integrate multiple data sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency, and maintaining data refresh schedules.
- Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI, incorporating various visualizations, filters, and drill-down capabilities.
- Create Data sources in the PBIX file and Publish to the respective workspaces for testing.
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for faster loading and responsiveness by streamlining SQL data queries.
Additional duties
- Perform administrative/back up work if need arises.
- Give access to Business Users for the Power BI Reports.
- Run process to update the data refresh on some Reports.
- Watch on the refresh schedule failures and communicating to the Business users about the availability of the reports.

Qualifications
- A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. Master's degree preferred.
- Other MSCE a plus

Experience
- 3-5 years of Experience with Power BI
- 7 Years Experience with business intelligence platforms
- 5 Years Strong working knowledge of data-warehousing, ETL, automation and reporting
- 5 Years Exceptional data retrieval and handling skills using SQL (or other scripting languages) Data modeling and data analysis skills with a strong customer focus.
- 5 Years System administration and security
- Working experience in all aspects of testing: functional, system, integration, performance
