SalaryWe are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team and manage our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support to our team members.
Responsibilities:
? Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
? Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
? Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
? Provide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and providing training and guidance as needed.
? Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
? Manage user accounts, ensuring appropriate access levels and data security.
? Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
? Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and requirements.
? Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or several years of equivalent work experience).
? Proven experience in IT support and system administration roles.
? Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
? Proficiency in Windows and/Apple operating systems.
? Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
? Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
? Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
? Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
