It Manager

AMETEK PDS is seeking a highly strategic IT Manager with a proven track record of success to join our business unit. This individual will join a global, multi-site business unit that designs and manufactures highly engineered aerospace, electronic and mechanical systems for aerospace and commercial applications. The Information Technology Manager will lead and work with IT staff to carry out the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions for the PDS Business Unit. This role will be based in Wichita, KS and will have multi-site responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business to develop and execute an IT strategy by identifying the appropriate use of technology improving the performance of the business
• Pro-actively engage the Corporate AMETEK IT organization ensuring full alignment from an IT Tools, Processes and Security perspective
• Ensure full IT compliance from both an application and infrastructure perspective (end point device through data centers), meeting all internal and external security/regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST-800-171, DFARS, Cyber Essentials, SOX, etc.)
• Achieve all business and operational objectives including budget performance, network & application availability, help-desk responsiveness, etc.
• Effectively manage the business infrastructure including on-prem data centers, networks, endpoints while leveraging a cloud first approach where appropriate
• Lead and refine PDS's application strategy with a focus on Oracle & Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP capabilities and various mission-critical engineering, operations, and sales applications
• Provide day to day leadership and coaching to a team of IT professionals located in multiple locations

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Technology or related field; MA/MBA preferred
Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience, preferably with a business that accomplishes engineering / product development.
• Previous IT leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment (made to order)
• Experience in a regulated industry within the US
• Demonstrated project management of full life cycle ERP (Oracle/ Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and CRM implementations
• Previous oversight of a multi -site organization preferred
• Experience in network infrastructure architectures, implementations, and on-going support
• Experienced in server management as well as data storage within a co-located data center environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• Proven hands-on management style in a lean environment
