IT Intern – Software Developer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Intern Software Developer will gain hands-on experience in various stages of software development including design, development, testing, and maintenance. The Intern Software Developer will work with the users and systems to bridge gaps, identify inefficiencies, and continuously improve business processes. With the goal of acquiring a keen understanding of how to address the needs of the business with potential software solutions, this internship offers the chance to familiarize oneself with various programming languages and development methodologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support and development for our various internal applications, such as our CRM, QA, Service, Production, Reports, and other applications.
- Assist with providing technical support, assistance, and advice to internal staff in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain documents and implement regular housekeeping procedures.
- Assist stakeholders in help desk requests, create and maintain reports for users, and perform administrative duties on internal applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the following:
- Web and application development
- Programming languages and frameworks (i.e. PHP, Laravel, MYSQL, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Swift)
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in setup, configuration, and knowledge of Apple IOS devices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-starter, dependable, attentive to detail.
- Excellent hands-on and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have an understanding of IT concepts and principles.
- Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
- Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, MIS (Management Information Systems), or related field of study.
- Minimum of two years of college education in business or computer related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

- Must be able to work permanently in the U.S.
- Must be able to acquire Nevada Gaming License.
