Summary:
The Instructional Technology Support Coordinator will work as a part of the Information Technology team to support College faculty and students with advanced technology-based remote learning tools and systems. The position is local to the Melbourne, Florida campus, but will be part of an integrated team servicing the needs of both Melbourne and Las Cruces campuses.
- This position is exempt.
- This position reports to the Instructional Systems Administrator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With support from the Las Cruces campus IT Team, this position implements/installs, maintains, and administers College technology-based remote learning infrastructure. This may include teleconferencing hardware and software systems, A/V room control platforms, specialized software platforms, and the integration of those into related systems such as learning management, scheduling, and analysis platforms. Works directly with faculty, staff, and students to provide selection, training, and operational support. also provide general IT support for the Melbourne Campus.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Management of technology-based instructional delivery platforms, including:
- Zoom teleconferencing
- Microsoft Teams collaboration environment
- A/V delivery and control environment
- Panopto lecture capture
- Management of instructional content using the Leo LMS
- Develop and deploy systems and strategies to support a variety of medical education needs, including:
- Faculty delivery of instruction on campus, between campuses, and with remote learners
- Clinical experience encounters
- Departmental and College organization meetings
- Staff development
- Student support
- Coordination of staff, faculty, and student development opportunities
- Coordinate local 3rd party contractors
Principal job requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of teleconferencing platforms – primarily Zoom
- Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Teams collaboration environment
- Demonstrated understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment, including management and administration experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently complete solutions based on end-user requirements, including training and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with data security protocols and software, and business continuity practices.
- Ability to support end users on a wide variety of education applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Associate degree in a related field (e.g. CS, BCS, Software Engineering)
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
- A combination of related experience, education, and certifications will be considered.
Preferences: Although not essential, preferences may be given to applicants with the following skills or attributes.
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience in educational software systems such as lecture capture and learning management systems.
