Host/Cashier/Busser

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking outgoing and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Hosts/Takeout Coordinators. As a Host/Takeout Coordinator at Broadaxe Broadway Bar & Pizza with Broadaxe Restaurant, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and facilitating efficient takeout orders.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus and seating options
• Manage the waitlist during peak dining hours and quote accurate wait times to guests
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, including managing coat check services if applicable
• Coordinate takeout orders, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation
• Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding takeout options, specials, and restaurant policies
• Process takeout orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth execution of takeout orders
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Comfortable working with POS systems and handling cash transactions
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with takeout procedures is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
