About the Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities:
- Proactively plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the company’s IT Infrastructure which includes hardware, systems, and networks.
- Be the on-site support for our facilities in Wilmington, DE.
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 infrastructure support.
- Troubleshoot network and security issues.
- Participate in the change management process.
- Independently identify and remediate network and system vulnerabilities.
- Perform daily administrative tasks, such as reporting and communication with relevant departments in the organization.
- Stay apprised of IT Infrastructure trends, recommend improvements to our network accordingly.
- Evaluate infrastructure purchases, recommend solutions based on cost-benefit and/or ROI analyses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of work experience in IT Infrastructure hardware and software.
- Experience with a broad range of technologies in a corporate environment (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches, WiFi infrastructure, mobile industrial devices, IDR/MDR solutions, video surveillance).
- Ability to work independently and deliver complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
