About the Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities:

• Proactively plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the company’s IT Infrastructure which includes hardware, systems, and networks.
• Be the on-site support for our facilities in Wilmington, DE.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 infrastructure support.
• Troubleshoot network and security issues.
• Participate in the change management process.
• Independently identify and remediate network and system vulnerabilities.
• Perform daily administrative tasks, such as reporting and communication with relevant departments in the organization.
• Stay apprised of IT Infrastructure trends, recommend improvements to our network accordingly.
• Evaluate infrastructure purchases, recommend solutions based on cost-benefit and/or ROI analyses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of work experience in IT Infrastructure hardware and software.
• Experience with a broad range of technologies in a corporate environment (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches, WiFi infrastructure, mobile industrial devices, IDR/MDR solutions, video surveillance).
• Ability to work independently and deliver complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
