What it takes to be our IT Help Desk Support:
- Must be located in the Madison, WI area for this hybrid role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of IT experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office 365
- Experience with configuring laptops and troubleshooting hardware
- Experience with installation, configuration, and support of enterprise software and hardware solutions
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, communication, and enterprise-wide technologies
- Ability to clearly document configurations and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Ability to train technical and non-technical people
- Ability to evaluate new applications
- Ability to prioritize and urgently respond to a variety of tasks, projects, and people in fast-paced environment
- High initiative with the ability to operate successfully with minimal direction
- Provide overall technical support to Naviant’s national remote workforce
- Provide exceptional desktop support for Microsoft technologies including Windows and Office 365 via remote and on-site support sessions
- Respond timely to internal technical support requests via phone, email, and chat and document all support interactions in the case management system
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or individual
- Configure and deploy new endpoints and other needed accessories to a remote workforce
- Support internal IT infrastructure, including AWS/O365 environments, routers, etc.
- Maintain a secure environment to protect critical business data including but not limited to remote access, SPAM filters, network usage, approved software, etc.
- Work with our IT consulting partners regarding their support of our environment
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and developments
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with practical solutions
- Execute project work plans related to internal IT projects
