It Governance Lead

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking a qualified full-time IT Governance Leadfor a new opportunity supporting CISA.
Position Summary - The IT Governance Lead will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and execution of a new IT Governance Framework. They will have a strong understanding of IT products and services, requirements analysis, and corporate governance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Government to define processes and develop standards, templates, and tools for packaging requirements under the new IT Governance Framework
• Manage new requirement submissions, including gathering, documenting, and managing stakeholder needs and requirements
• Prepare requirements and change control documents for review by governing bodies
• Maintain meeting minutes and other related documents and artifacts.
• Prepare and provide regular reporting materials for approved projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely submission
• Investigate and solve requirements management issues
• Identify and act upon opportunities to recommend improvements to internal business processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology, IT governance, or a related field
• Generated business cases, cost benefit analyses, tradeoff analyses, or at a minimum, cost estimates for IT assets (systems, networks, applications)
• Designed, developed, or at least supported IT governance processes
• Strong understanding of IT requirements, portfolio management, and governance frameworks
• Experience in developing or implementing standards, templates, and tools for IT governance or a similar area
• Proven experience managing people, programs, and processes
• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present detailed reports
• Experience facilitating meetings and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, from technical staff to executive leadership.
• Active Moderate Public Trust clearance or higher, or National Security Clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in business process engineering/redesign
• Experience performing similar roles for the Department of Homeland Security and/or Department of Defense
