It Field Service Tech

We are looking for an experienced Level II technician with a current A+, but will consider techs that are currently studying for A+

The worker will hit multiple service cities. Break fix, and Imac projects • What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? , Breakfix experience laptop, desktop servers), printer experience • What will the work schedule be for this position? (M-F? 8-5? Overtime? On-call?): M-F 8-5p OC and OT - this is considered a "one-man service city" so there will be plenty of opportunity for OT. • How many overall years of experience should this person have? at least 2 • Do they need any specific certifications or education? A+ current, or willing to obtain within 90 days • If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $23-$24/hr • How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? miles per day will vary throughout the area. 45min-1 hour away

• What is the exact work location or city, state, or zip? The service city is Roanoke, VA 24001 • How soon will the candidate review and interviews start? ASAP • What issues have you had with this req in the past? Issues with turnover. It's a transitional area, so a lot of times candidates don't like to stay in the area. • Will you utilize clear vision for this role? YES. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Requires at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
