Job Description
Our client is looking for an IT End User Services Specialist in their Pleasanton, CA to be part of their fast-paced environment that pushes you learn while doing. In this role, you will be responsible providing onsite IT support, focusing on speedy issue resolution for employee IT issues, proactive improvements, and a robust customer-first mindset.IT End User Services Specialist is responsible for the daily monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution for critical business services issues. These services include Office 365 exchange administration, Active Directory, Office Network, Telephony, SSO, MFA, DNS, File Sharing, Communication, Collaboration and assisting End Users in accessing tools, End User's laptops, and services that are required to enable to each function.
What you will Do:
  • Office 365 Systems Administration Windows/macOS and mixed hybrid environments. Experienced Windows/Office 365 System Administrator who can provide solutions and be able to work independently and a good team player. Will deploy, modify, monitor, and maintain the Office 365 related applications and systems.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations, IT Helpdesk monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of laptop iT image (Windows & Mac)
  • You will be conducting new hire IT Onboarding sessions and will be responsible to execute IT off-boarding tasks.
  • You will be responsible to maintaining IT Assets using asset management tool.
  • Administrate and support SSO integration, MFA, MDM and industry standard endpoint security controls and other cloud services like O365, Zoom, Box etc
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully executing IT projects- aligning with schedules and delivering on the agreed scope
  • A constant drive to improve the experience of our users and our internal processes to deliver a friction less experience to our employees.
  • Focus on monitoring and proactive to resolve issues before they impact our employees
  • Work with multiple sites to coordinate IT initiatives
  • Customer focus with blend of supporting internal and external users
  • Windows PowerShell experience to automate IT operational tasks
  • Create and update technical documentation for internal IT teams and ServiceMax employees
  • IT support for our employees and maintains in-office technologies such as MS Teams rooms, printers, and office network.
Qualifications
What you will bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of related experiences in IT End User support experience
  • Deep understanding of computer fundamentals, networking, hardware, and operating systems
  • Experience performing hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting Mac & Windows laptops and iOS, Android devices and re-imaging laptops.
  • Experience with collaboration tools, such as Atlassian Suite, Confluence, Jira, or equivalent
  • Experience in supporting Office 365 environments and Microsoft Intune
  • Experience in supporting identity management security protocols such Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) like OKTA, JumpCloud
  • Experiencing in supporting endpoint management tools like JamF and Microsoft Intune
  • Experience working with remote teams, multiple offices while using tools like MS Teams and support them.
  • Interact effectively with technical and non-technical resources
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Quickly establish comfortable and effective working relationships and demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Security and compliance focused mindset are plus.
  • Are proficient in one or more of the following scripting languages: Automation Scripting, MS Shell Script, Python, HTML, CSS, Java, or other scripting language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (OCI, AWS, etc.)
