IT Dispatcher Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
• Monitor the dispatch board and ensure calls are answered/completed within company timelines
• Serving customers' needs immediately if possible or entering a service request
• Interface with techs; communicating thoroughly at all times
• Managing schedules and customer emergencies, prioritizing urgent issues
• Knowing when to escalate problems to management
• Answer telephone and be able to direct calls to other employees if necessary
Dispatcher Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• IT Industry Experience a Strong Plus!
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in dispatch a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to multi-task proficiently
• A self-starter and need very little supervision
• Very detail oriented
• Leadership skills must be able to direct a team with confidence
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• "Get it done” attitude
