IT Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, this position will play a crucial role in building, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role will also work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations across multiple pre-sale and post-sale applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and relationships. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Help develop governances around data
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through data analysis
- Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and meaningful way to stakeholders. Conduct ad hoc data analysis and research to address specific business questions or challenges.
- Work directly with other IT members on data and/or application related projects
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering insights and solutions from data and establishing data governesses
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation, and experience with SQL Server management studio
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- 2+ years of working experience in a fast-paced, data driven manufacturing/distributor organization
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Phyton, and R
- Ability to communicate complex findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years working experience with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement (Sales hub) or Microsoft AX 2012
- 2+ Years SQL experience
- Cloud experience
- HTML experience
