POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Clinical Analyst to join our dedicated team at Borland Groover. As an IT clinical Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to analyze, design, implement, and support IT systems and applications that optimize patient care, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the field of gastroenterology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including gastroenterologists, nurses, and administrative to understand their clinical workflow data needs and pain points
- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical systems with existing infrastructure
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to identify process improvement opportunities and adhere to relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPPA and HITECH.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, reporting, and data accuracy to maintain compliance.
- Develop and maintain clinical decision support tools, including clinical alerts and reminders.
- Assist healthcare providers in making well-informed decisions during patient encounters.
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze clinical data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports to support clinical decision-making, population health management, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive user guides, training materials, and FAQs for clinical applications.
- Conduct training sessions for clinical staff to ensure they are proficient in using the IT systems effectively and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an IT Clinical Analyst in a healthcare setting, preferably with experience in gastroenterology
- Associate's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. Clinical experience a plus
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, clinical applications, and healthcare databases
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as HL7, ICD-10, HIPPA, and HITECH
