The opportunity
The IT Business Process Analyst III acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. (Work is primarily achieved by an individual or through project teams)

How you’ll spend your day
- Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements.
- Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
- Contributes to process improvements.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Provides informal guidance to junior staff while working independently.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Cross functional understanding. (Different business areas: 4+ systems.)
- Own relationship with vendors. Interfaces: from 3 disciplines from the business. Being a single point of contact for a specific area.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in MIS (Management Information Systems), computer science, healthcare/bio-informatics, Biomedical Sciences, or Pharmacy.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in supporting and managing technology systems for laboratory processes.
- Experience with software SDLC processes in a regulated environment.
- Experience interacting with business stakeholders to facilitate system implementations.
