Business Rules Junior Developer
This position is expected to collaborate with the appropriate team members in researching existing business processes and business policies to optimize current state business rules.
Positions in this function will also author and test rules using Red Hat Process Automation Manager PAM in an agile environment. In addition positions in this function are expected to build and maintain relationships with the Operations teams and work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements to author the rules in the Rules Engine.
Job Responsibilities:

• Review and Analyze business rule requirements to understand the business needs
• Perform data analysis to determine potential areas where existing business and operational policies and procedures require change and/or where new ones need to be developed and make recommendations for improvement in those areas.
• Design author/code using mvel and java unit test and implement business rules requirements using the Red Hat PAM tool and/or IntelliJ
• Create and maintain fact models process models and decision tables
• Create rules lists and decision trees to support rules/decisions
• Scenario test using JSON and Postman
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback
• Able to analyze root-cause issue problem solve and provide key recommendations for issues and problems encountered
• Recognize and analyze gaps between current state and desired outcome
• Able to engage functional partners to effectively deliver on each project
• Communicate potential impacts and risks associated with implementing proposed solutions to business partners and relevant Stakeholders
• Ability to function in a multi-project environment with changing priorities
  Required Qualifications:
• 1 years coding and/or rules coding using Object Oriented programming languages like Java VB.NET or C#
• Technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologies and principles
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field and/or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with JSON or XML
• Experience with GitHub for source control
• Experience with APIs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to a varied audience
• Excellent time management organizational and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience and knowledge with Red Hat BRMS aka Decision Manager and/or BPM aka Process Automation Manager processes rules and/or tools
• Experience with Postman or SoapUI
• Agile experience
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry
• 2 years of experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix type environment to achieve project deliverables required
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel Visio PowerPoint and SharePoint
