Job Description:
- Hardware Asset Management practice and is accountable for supporting IT asset inventory activities in various locations.
- Site Inventory role leverages hardware asset lifecycle best practices to ensure effective asset inventory controls are in-use, including timely data updates, hardware reclamation and replacement process adherence, and compliance with asset movement tracking and disposal (ITAD) practices. Further duties include:
- Evaluate and reconcile of on-site, in-stock IT inventory and materials to source data systems (including travel to *** locations).
- Update ServiceNow, Flexera, Teams/SharePoint, where applicable.
- Execute processes for IT inventory transfers and disposal (ITAD).
- Identify and report potential risks and issues with on-site IT inventory storage practices (physical safety, data safety).
- Coordinate with site and IT resources for inventory movement (site-base resources and 3rd party vendors / partners) Site Data Management:
- Support reconciliation of requests and invoices related to outbound inventory (L2 requests, Sage disposal, PCaaS, Lease returns (non-PC), Legal Hold, 3rd Party Warranty)
- Update ServiceNow, Flexera, Teams, where applicable
- Coordinate with site resources for inventory movement (site-base resources and 3rd party vendors / partners)
- Review, assess, and reconcile Site data in key IT systems for continuity, and work with cross-functional resources to support data corrections in key systems as required. Site Inventory Mgmt:
- Perform inventory verification and compliance for all other stockrooms in NA, in coordination with 3rd parties (L2s, Park Place, Telecommunication, etc)
- Establish and maintain optimal stockroom thresholds, including technician (L2) on-hand inventory, stockroom inventory, 3rd party held inventory, and site-held inventory (Loaner equipment).
- Support discovery of site inventory data and maintain accuracy in key IT systems.
- Support inventory reporting, variance reporting.
- Provide inventory optimization and process improvement input/feedback, including standard documentation review and improvement.
