Primary purpose: This position provides support and training and will function as the primary contact for end users utilizing the Epicor Bistrack ERP software suite.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bistrack Support: Responsible for providing comprehensive support for Epicor Bistrack, in addition to related software and hardware, to address end users' needs effectively.
  • User Training: Responsible for training personnel on best practices and the optimal use of Bistrack, ensuring proficient software utilization throughout the organization.
  • Case Escalation: Responsible for taking action to escalate all unresolved cases to the Manager of IT Support to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Effective Communication: Responsible for communicating effectively with all users, maintaining clear and responsive communication from the initial inquiry through the case's completion.
  • Onsite Support: Travel onsite as needed to provide onsite support for all locations, addressing Bistrack-related issues and ensuring smooth operations.
  • IT Projects: Work on other IT projects as directed, contributing your expertise to various IT initiatives.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a focus on safety and quality at all times to ensure the integrity of IT services.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the IT department.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bistrack Expertise: Extensive experience in administrating and using BisTrack in a production environment, demonstrating your proficiency with the software.
  • IT Skills: A broad range of IT skills and aptitude to troubleshoot most hardware and software issues that may arise.
  • Decision-Making: Good judgment and decision-making skills to address a variety of IT situations effectively.
  • Adaptability: The ability to modify your planned daily schedule to address unplanned urgencies, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Problem Solving: An action-oriented problem solver, capable of taking initiative to resolve issues promptly.
  • Professionalism: Represent the company in a way that conveys a positive impression to customers and colleagues.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable engaging with team members, collaborating effectively, and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Pressure Handling: Thrive under pressure and exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks with finesse.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to efficiently handle IT support tasks.
  • Driver's License: Possess a driver’s license with a clean driving record, allowing for travel to different locations as needed.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Windows Proficiency: Proficiency with Windows operating system setup and configuration, as well as application setup and configuration, enhancing your ability to support end users.
  • Enterprise Experience: At least 2 years of experience supporting end users in an enterprise environment, providing a strong foundation for this role.
