It Application Developer Full-Stack Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the implementation effort that includes IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS and microservice integrations with front-end and backend applications and other platforms. Recommends better, faster, or smarter implementations.
• Lead the technical exploration of emerging technologies and champion the modernization of digital platforms.
• Lead the operations of our CMS and eCommerce systems (Magento, commerce tools), including design, definition, and development of new functionality, workflows, templates, components, and commerce processes.
• Mentor and guide development team members as well as being an individual contributor.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, educating, negotiating, and influencing them on implementation options and risks.
• Review code developed by other developers, and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Code governance using SonarQube and good knowledge of BitBucket and GitHub.  Good understanding of search applications like Coveo. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• At least 3 years of progressively complex related experience
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

DevOps:

• 2+ years of experience is Deployment automation for various applications IaaS, and PaaS platforms.
• Good knowledge of GIT and BitBucket workflows and Repo
• Knowledge of implementation of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud deployments using containers/Docker is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices architecture and other DevOps tooling and Linux environments is a plus.
• Working knowledge or experience in software development for Web and Mobile applications in agile environments

Web/backend Developer:

• Previous experience with full stack development ranging from front-end user interfaces to back-end systems.
• Proficient in back-end languages with exposure to performance optimization of high-traffic & scalable services
• Hands-on with modern UI frameworks like React with good knowledge of front-end design patterns (stateless components, conditional rendering, controlled components, hooks, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of distributed SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) design & consumption patterns
• Have exposure to implementation, capacity planning & performance tuning of Cloud technologies –AWS and CDN
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing & operations.

Mobile Developer:

• Working knowledge of Mobile App development like Swift, SwiftUI, Objective C ( iOS)
• Working knowledge of Mobile App development like Kotlin (Android)
• Experience in building client applications consuming JSON based on REST and SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing & operations.
• Software Engineer in Test
• Experienced in Test Driven Development (TDD) and JUNIT
• Experience developing automation in at least one OO language - Java, Python, or web-based technologies.
• Proven experience creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation.
• Experience working in a Microservices-based architecture in a cloud-native environment.

E-Commerce and Digital:

• Digital and e-commerce experience AEM, understanding of global components, and Salesforce Marketing cloud integration.
• Experience with CMS applications like AEM with an understanding of global components.
• Experience with commerce applications like Magento commerce tools and other MACH commerce applications
• Strong understanding of Google and Adobe analytics
• Experience with commerce integrations like CRM (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Targetbase, Paymetrics, PIM, OMS, ERP, and others

Education Qualification: 

• Masters/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent
