- Track issues to resolution.
- Update the internal ticketing system with issue resolution details.
- Perform user account creation, changes and deletions.
- Perform password resets and re-certify tokens.
- Support computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones and applications.
- Support printers and network print environment.
- Monitor and escalate alerts from antivirus systems.
- Monitor backup system alerts and escalate errors.
- Maintain user accounts including rights, permissions and systems groups.
- Escalate problems as required to Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams.
- Follow up on tickets at pre-defined intervals until resolved.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical escalation teams.
- Trains staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
- Provides end user support for mobile devices.
- Create reports for management and executive use.
- Collaborate with management team members to collect and analyze data.
- Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
- Structure large data sets to find usable information.
- Installs and supports workstation computers and other network attached devices.
- Testing equipment and applications within the network.
- Perform typical hardware repair on computer equipment.
- Reload computer operating systems on equipment as needed.
- Maintain hardware inventory.
- Maintain documentation of the computer environment.
- Write and execute SQL queries to generate useful reports for management team.
- Structure data from SQL into useable forms for presentations and reporting.
- Must have at least 1year experience working as a help desk specialist in a business environment or an Associate’s degree in IT.
- Strong computer hardware knowledge is required and Windows skills or experience is expected.
- SQL database knowledge is required.
Wages will be based on experience level
