Job description

Headquartered in New York City, located in midtown Manhattan on New York's famed Eastside, our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.
The IT Analyst, Robotic Process Automation will play a critical role in building and deploying Robotic Process Automations. You will be responsible for helping design, architect, develop, and deliver key automation solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with business and vendor partners to deliver new automated processes to replace manual processing, as well as create scalable and efficient Process Automations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technology skills, is organized, has a good eye for detail, and has a deep understanding of RPA as it relates to financial services and/or call center activities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and IT leaders in identifying and designing appropriate automation workflows.
  • Learn and master configuration of our RPA and workflow tools
  • Design, document, develop and execute test automation plans from business requirements.
  • Implement the full life cycle of RPA solution: identifying automation opportunities, gather requirements, implement, test and deploy targeted automation solutions using industry leading RPA tools.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to create and deploy RPA solutions.
  • Develop scalable and efficient Process Automations and reusable components that can be leveraged across different lines of businesses.
  • Effectively communicate status of automation projects, inclusive of risks, issues, action items and dependencies to management and stakeholders.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to others seeking to utilize RPA technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business processes.
  • Manage allocation and implementation of tasks and aid with project plan development
  • Establish mechanisms to continually monitor and evaluate programs, processes, and workflows
  • Monitor automation plans for compliance to IT security standards and policies
  • Provide second-level support to resolve incidents or fulfill requests for assigned systems; act as enterprise subject matter expert to research and resolve issues; provides status on user issues
  • Conform to regular attendance standards
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures identified by Loews Hotels
  • Assists in evaluating multiple RPA technologies and helps in the selection process
  • Providing support to end users during UAT and debugging root causes of any issues.

  • Support other IT and business-led strategic initiatives with solution design, implementation, and change management as needed
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend tools and solutions to accelerate process improvement initiatives and drive successful change
  • Interface with team members at all levels of the organization, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote positive image of the department
  • Maintain competency and professional growth by consulting with Technology Management Team, attend seminars, conferences, or trainings; read industry related publications to remain abreast of technology advances
  • Treat others respectfully and actively listen when someone is speaking to them
  • Act in a way that demonstrates integrity and serve as a positive example
  • Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments

Qualifications
Required:
  • Demonstrated advanced programming/configuration/analytical skills to achieve business and or technical requirements.
  • Able to work independently to resolve discrepancies, defects, incidents or problems with understanding of the business and system impacts.
  • Able to identify and exercise appropriate escalation communications.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for learning and applying new and/or updated programming languages, techniques, and/or software development disciplines.
  • Skilled in automating business processes using RPA technologies.
  • Adept in RPA processes, including requirements gathering, solution designing, documentation and implementation using different tools such as Automation Anywhere, UI path, and Blue Prism, etc.
  • Assists in evaluating multiple RPA technologies and helps in the selection process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to build presentations and provide demos to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to assist in providing training to end users.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to perform "Physical Requirements" as explained below

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of hotel financial and commercial operations
  • Previous experience working with Robotic Process Automation technologies (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, BluePrism) is strongly preferred

Education:
  • BS/BA Bachelor's Degree in Technology (or associate degree/high school diploma and equivalent years of experience)

Experience:
  • 2+ Years directly related work experience specific to job requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task with several complex and demanding concurrent projects
  • Strong Business acumen and communication skills (both written and oral)

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $68,800.00 to $86,000.00.
