ISSM (Information System Security Manager)

New Job Opportunity - ISSM: 

New and exciting job opportunity out of Hanscom, AFB. Looking to hire an experienced ISSM with at least 6 years of Cyber security experience. An active TS/SCI is required -Supports the USAF & DoD.
This role is policy driven: RMF, NIST, FISMA. For this role, you will need NEED an IAT Lvl III Certification 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• On Site - This position is on-site at Hanscom AFB near Boston MA
• Salary depending on experience 

Day to Day Activities:

• Provide support to Information SystemsSecurity Manager (ISSM) and System Security Engineer (SSE) in execution of the Cybersecurity Program.
• Perform Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) duties.
• Actively participate in Configuration Management (CM) tasks to ensure cybersecurity postures are not impacted due to a change; notifying the ISSM and SSE when changes occur that might affect cybersecurity authorization(s) and/or certifications.
• Attend required meetings to understand ship/shore installations and testing schedules requiring cybersecurity authorizations or have cybersecurity impacts.
• Provide meeting summary notes for meetings attended to the cyber team for awareness.
• Review cybersecurity Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Coordinate with contractors/organizations supporting cybersecurity efforts.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• IAT III certification and relevant Computing Environment (CE) training
• At Least 6 years of prior related work experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance
