ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) Certified Remote Interpreter

Soliant has partnered with a local school district in Illinoisto hire aSign Language Interpreter for the current school-year. This is a fully work-from-home/virtual interpreting role.
Schedule: Monday - Friday with ALL evenings, weekends, and school holidays
Will work with a high-school student, alongside the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher and a team of interpreters.

Qualifications:

• ISBE approval to work in Illinois schools required
• Experience in a school setting (2+ years) required
• Stable and secure internet connection
• Basic technological skills and fortability
• Ability to work full-time

Contract Details:

• 1099 contract position
• Renewals are available for the right fit
• Free Zoom platform
• Tech and clinical support
• Weekly pay
• Hourly pensation mensurate with experience and qualifications
• Off on weekends, evenings, and school holidays/breaks
• Hourly rate range negotiable
