- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Supervises and supports staff in alignment with the IS Epic Clinical Support and Training team strategy. Coordinates personnel resources to support operational needs and is the first point of contact for staff. Helps implement the ongoing strategy of Epic support for clinical end users and includes analysis of business and user needs to support strategy with front-line staff. Promotes new and ongoing system functionality within Epic to assist customers in efficiency and safe EHR practices. Meets with both staff and manager regularly to achieve optimal application delivery and performance.This position will oversee the Epic Workflow Specialists who are based onsite at various locations. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of two days onsite per week

Information Services is committed to providing leadership, Support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Design and Operations function manages the operations of our existing services and implements new technology into the organization on behalf of our business customers. Our team includes the 24/7 service desk, application operations and implementation teams.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience required.
- Four (4) years Epic System experience or in an IS related position required.
- One (1) year IT related leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
