Irvine Tutors

We are looking for local tutors that can teach younger students in the Irvine area and are willing to travel to the student's homes to help them with their homework. Most work will be basic math and English, but we also have online classes available for a variety of math, science, and English courses. We are searching for someone who can start right away and can work between the hours of 3-10pm PST. Our company has been in business for 25 years and we have been doing online tutoring for the last 10 years. We prefer tutors who can comfortably help students in high school math and science courses, but you do not need to be proficient in all of these subjects.

Online Tutoring Requirements

• Must have a computer with a webcam and microphone.
• Must have headphones or a headset.
• Reliable internet connection
• Quiet space for tutoring
• Math tutors are required to have a writing tablet (ie. Wacom)

About our Company

Acclaim Academic Institute is located in Irvine, CA and has been providing quality instruction to students both locally and overseas, via online tutoring, for 20 years. We assist students in all subjects including AP courses, as well as preparation for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and SAT II.

Responsibilities and Duties

All scheduling and notifications will be taken care of by our team. All our teachers have to do is check their schedule and log into their room to teach their classes. After each class the teacher will fill out a report. End of class reports are also used as teachers timecards.
